Local people have embraced events organised by Castle Community Church in support of cancer nurses across the country.
The church opens its doors each year and hosts a number of events including cake sales, coffee mornings and raffles to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A particularly popular fundraising activity this year was the church’s coffee morning, which was praised for raising over £230 by Northwich Mayor Kevin Rimmer who came down to lend his support.
“It has been a great pleasure to visit Castle Community Church today and support its Macmillan Coffee Morning,” he said.
